Senior Frontend Engineer

Job Description

Snyk is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Frontend Platform team in London. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building the future of application security by creating reusable, high-performance, reliable, and scalable User Interfaces. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing, designing, and implementing high-quality solutions with well-tested, maintainable code.
• Building enterprise-grade UIs with long-term flexibility, focusing on sound design, robust testing, and accessibility.
• Leading product teams by providing end-to-end solutions that maintain standards across the platform.
• Supporting external customers and internal stakeholders by diagnosing and addressing bugs.
• Demonstrating end-to-end ownership for critical efforts and leading peers in delivery.
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering their growth at Snyk.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on large-scale Frontend development.
• Proficiency in a modern UI Framework, preferably Vue, or a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend tooling like Vite.
• Experience in building reliable, scalable web applications or platform systems.
• Familiarity with fundamental computer science concepts.
• Demonstrable skill in software testing, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Strong commitment to code quality and effective communication skills.
