Job Description
At-Bay is seeking a Director of Cyber & Data Risk Strategy to lead the intersection of cybersecurity data, technology, and risk strategy. The role involves collaborating with various teams across the company on technology-led initiatives and orchestrating projects in this area. This is an opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives, present findings to senior leadership, and redefine how complex projects are executed.
Role Involves:
- Leading cross-functional Tech<>Risk projects.
- Becoming the go-to expert on all cyber data aspects.
- Translating business and risk priorities into data platform strategies.
- Promoting cross-company alignment of cyber and technical aspects of risk.
- Driving a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Identifying issues and leading research to generate insights.
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience in program management, strategy & management consulting, or 4+ years in product management in cybersecurity.
- Passion for hands-on research and analytical decision-making.
- Ability to prioritize projects and communicate complex details.
- Established ability to drive complex, company-wide initiatives.
- Familiarity with high-tech startup environments.
- Proven success collaborating with data, engineering, and product teams.
- Strong business-level communication skills.
- Excellent English.
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience as a backend engineer in Python.
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Strong data orientation (Working with Data Teams (DS, BI, Analytics).
- Experience with Event based architecture and infrastructures such as: Kafka, Kinesis, SNS/SQS.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience in coding to cloud production environments such as AWS.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgresql
