Job Description
Tide is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution for digital payments across Europe and India. The Lead Product Manager will be responsible for building and scaling a platform that enables SMEs to seamlessly send, receive, and manage money. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and possess a strong understanding of data and the ability to make decisions based on metrics.
The Lead Product Manager will work alongside experienced product professionals, developers, data scientists, designers, and marketers to research, build, ship, and improve the product. This role requires commercial focus and a good understanding of the competitive landscape to continuously improve Tide's market position.
Role Involves:
- Developing and driving the product vision & strategy within our card issuing business in the UK/EU.
- Conducting market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Driving product-led cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle.
- Prioritizing product features and enhancements based on market requirements, customer feedback, and business goals.
- Creating and maintaining a product roadmap.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, risk, marketing and other product teams.
- Defining and scoping new product ideas leveraging internal technology and external vendor solutions.
- Cultivating a seamless customer experience.
- Taking ownership for business metrics and product KPIs.
- Working with the finance team during quarterly forecasting cycles.
- Driving revenue growth through insights, developing and delivering product features.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in payments product Management with proven experience working with agile/scrum delivery teams.
- Deep expertise in payments and connectivity, particularly bank payments, with extensive experience in fintechs or banks across global markets.
- Strong understanding of fund flows, transaction settlement, and reconciliation involving multiple parties.
- Technical knowledge and experience with API-based products.
- Strong understanding of the latest payment scheme rules & wider regulations in global markets and can articulate risk implications of card products.
- Commercial experience is driving growth revenue and have a strong understanding of the card revenue drivers across the cards flywheel
- Strong communication skills and have the ability to communicate to stakeholders at different levels.
