Technical Lead

The Technical Lead role at Prolific is a pivotal position within the engineering department. The role focuses on promoting technical excellence across product development teams. This individual will lead the technical direction of projects, ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions, and providing guidance and mentorship to team members. The role may include line management of less experienced team members.

Requirements:

• Extensive technical leadership experience.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Product engineering mindset with a focus on business impacts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• 5+ years of experience building cloud-based applications or platforms.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS and GCP), programming languages (Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript), frameworks (Vue.js, Django Rest Framework), container-based and serverless architectures, databases (MongoDB and DynamoDB), and DevOps tools (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Celery, EventBridge, and DataDog).
