Job Description

BarkleyOKRP is seeking a Freelance Content Creator for a short-term contract in their Kansas City office. The Content Creator will be responsible for producing original video and photo content for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Reels, and Facebook. They will need to stay on top of social media trends and understand the capabilities within various platforms. The ideal candidate should be a quick thinker, adaptable, and possess strong improvisation skills.Responsibilities include:

• Concepting and producing original video and photo content for social media
• Understanding capabilities within the various social platforms
• Staying on top of trends
• Learning and policing Barkley legal policies regarding social media
• Receiving and applying feedback from reviews
• Producing quickly and efficiently

Qualifications include:

• Portfolio or proven experience in content creation for social media
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Operating at the speed of culture
• Having social intuition and knowing what will and will not work on platforms
• Knowing how to shoot quality content on iPhone
