Job Description
Recursion is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Data Management to lead and oversee end-to-end Clinical Data Management activities on assigned studies and programs. This role is crucial in managing third-party data sources and serving as a subject matter expert for Data Management. The Associate Director will lead and deliver initiatives for CDM within the Biometrics group and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Clinical Development organization and larger Data Science teams at Recursion.
- Leading end-to-end Data Management activities, including managing outsourced studies and overseeing DM and external vendor activities.
- Representing Data Management in Clinical Study Meetings.
- Working with CRO and Recursion functional groups to complete EDC setup and other systems.
- Serving as a SME for various operational activities and DM processes.
- Leading efforts for creation and standardization of CRFs and Data Review Plans.
- Overseeing the creation and maintenance of Data Management documents.
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure data collection meets SDTM requirements.
- Managing strategic input into the design of data flow across EDC and non-EDC data sources.
- Ensuring filing, archival, and inspection readiness of all Data Management Trial Master File (TMF) activities.
- Reviewing and managing external Data Management Budgets.
- Supporting the development of Clinical Data Management Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Complying with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, math, or computer science.
- 12+ years’ experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience managing external data and 3rd party vendors.
- Strong knowledge of regulations and guidelines for clinical trials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
