Area Collections Manager - Lending

PhonePe Group is seeking an Area Collections Manager for Lending to be based in Ranchi. This role involves managing the portfolio, driving collections, and ensuring compliance with collection processes within the assigned region. The Area Collections Manager will be responsible for controlling roll rates, recovering overdue payments, and managing delinquencies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in new-age NBFCs, banks, or fintech companies and possess strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. They should be results-oriented and capable of making data-driven decisions.

Role Involves:

• Managing the portfolio and driving collections for the assigned region.
• Driving compliance to collection processes.
• Controlling roll rates and recovery of overdue payments.
• Driving higher resolution rates across buckets.
• Developing and executing collection strategies.
• Identifying and improving collections processes.
• Designing and implementing compliance and controls.
• Daily monitoring and reviews of delinquent portfolio.

Requirements:

• MBA/Graduate degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in collections.
• Experience in new-age NBFCs, banks, or fintech is mandatory.
• Strong decision-making and communication skills.
