Server Administrator (Patching)

Job Description

PhonePe Group is seeking a System Engineer (Patching Support with Windows and Linux) to maintain the security and stability of its IT infrastructure. The candidate will manage and deploy patches across various systems to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure optimal performance.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing patch management strategies for Windows and Linux systems.
• Continuously monitoring system performance and health.
• Utilizing automation tools to streamline patch deployment processes.
• Generating compliance reports to verify patch status.
• Collaborating with security, network, and application teams.
• Maintaining detailed records of patching activities.

Requirements include:

• Proficiency in administering Windows Server and various Linux distributions.
• Experience with patch management tools like Bigfix, SCCM, and WSUS.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM.
• Understanding of security principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years in system administration with a focus on patch management.
