LayerZero Labs is seeking a Global Mobility Specialist to manage the end-to-end global mobility experience for international hires relocating to Canada and other global locations. The Global Mobility Specialist will provide high-touch, personalized relocation support to candidates and their families. This role involves managing all aspects of relocation and immigration, including Canadian work permits, PR pathways, vendor coordination, onboarding, and post-move support. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, empathetic approach to mobility, strong knowledge of Canadian immigration processes, and the ability to seamlessly coordinate across multiple teams and time zones.
What this role involves: - Leading the end-to-end mobility process for international hires and internal transfers.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for candidates and their families.
- Coordinating all relocation logistics.
- Managing and supporting Canadian immigration processes.
- Advising recruiters and hiring managers on immigration strategies.
- Tracking and managing work permit status, renewals, and deadlines.
- Assisting international employees in navigating the PR process.
- Providing basic tax and social security guidance.
- Collaborating closely with HR, Legal, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Finance teams.
- Monitoring and responding to changes in immigration laws, policies, and trends.
- Maintaining mobility data, trackers, and reporting.
Requirements: - GMS (Global Mobility Specialist) certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in global mobility or international HR.
- Proven track record supporting Canadian immigration.
- Strong experience delivering high-touch, personalized support to candidates and families.
- Skilled in coordinating with relocation, housing, and immigration vendors.
- Excellent communication, project management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively across time zones, cultures, and high-growth environments.
