SVP, Brand and Business Development - GCC

Job Description

Authentic Brands Group is seeking an SVP of Brand and Business Development to lead its business across the MEA territory, specifically in Dubai. This role involves executing strategies to increase Authentic's brand presence in the region, reporting directly to the EVP for Lifestyle Brands EMEAI. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of brand licensing and a strong network of licensing and retail contacts in the MEA territory.Role involves:

• Leading Authentic’s MEA territory strategy.
• Extending and expanding Authentic brand presence and distribution in the MEA territory.
• Developing and executing critical action plans with licensees.
• Building and directing business development in the MEA territory.
• Driving royalty overages through proactive brand and marketing tactics.
• Leading and managing the Brand Management and Retail/Licensee Business Development employees.
• Overseeing brand and marketing management.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in fashion, retail, or celebrity and entertainment.
• Established knowledge of the retail landscape in the MEA territory.
• Executive-level leadership qualities.
• Extensive hands-on experience in business development, sales, retailer relationships, brand management, marketing, and P&L management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Extensive experience with the licensing business model.
• Extensive network of contacts in the licensing and retail sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
