Facilities Technician 2

Job Description

Rent the Runway is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to maintain, install, and repair facility equipment and automation equipment within their Dream Fulfillment Center (DFC). The technician will diagnose and perform preventive maintenance/repairs to powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems, adhering to all safety policies/procedures. They will also diagnose and perform repairs/preventive maintenance on building equipment such as air compressors, heating/ventilation, and plumbing/electrical.

• Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance/repairs to powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems.
• Diagnose and perform repairs/preventive maintenance on building equipment.
• Inspect work performed by others and provide guidance.
• Communicate regularly with Facilities Manager and Operations leaders.
• Lead/perform project work to support warehouse daily operations.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with third-party vendors.
• Train maintenance team members as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related experience in a similar role
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise
• Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to train others
• Flexibility to work overtime, off-shifts, and weekends
