Platform and Client Operations - Assistant Vice President

Job Description

iCapital is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President of Operations to join their Platform Operations team. This role will provide technical and operational support across several key clients in the alternative investment business. The Assistant Vice President will oversee multiple clients and drive efforts to launch new funds, improve operations, and develop new processes and procedures. This individual will be the first line of defense for client and platform activity and will work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.Responsibilities:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of all interfaces on the iCapital platform.
• Execute end-to-end technical and operations deliverables on recurring platform.
• Work closely with senior team members and cross-departmentally with client operations, product, and client management.
• Provide critical support for ongoing platform activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for platform operations for a book of US-based Alternatives clients.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and internal parties.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge-sharing practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in platform operations, middle office operations, or a similar role.
• Proven experience in an operational role, with the ability to balance team management and hands-on responsibilities.
• Experience in platform management, implementation management, or process management a plus.
• Experience managing external relationships, handling escalations, and fostering client relationships.
• Experience with documenting technical processes and integrations.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to quality, a client-first mindset, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Alternatives middle-office experience a strong plus.
