iCapital is seeking a Vice President for Platform and Client Operations to oversee the delivery of technical and operational requirements for their alternative investments business. This role involves leading a team focused on operational excellence, technical operations, and support, ensuring the quality and efficiency of recurring platform operations while maintaining a client-centric approach. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team executing day-to-day platform operations for the alternative investment business.
- Drive efficiency and scalability within the business-as-usual (BAU) Operations team.
- Manage a dedicated book of alternative investment clients.
- Implement and maintain best practices for documentation, knowledge sharing, and process transparency.
- Work cross-departmentally with client management, product, and fund origination teams.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a related industry with 3+ in platform operations, middle office operations, or similar functions.
- Proven experience managing a small operations-oriented team.
- Experience onboarding new hires is a plus.
- Meaningful experience leading operations with ticketing management, client responsiveness, and solving operational and support issues.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership over established processes and required enhancements.
- Excellent client-facing skills and communication style.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Alternatives experience is a plus.
