Job Description
OpenTable is seeking an Account Executive to join their team. This role involves bringing new restaurants onto the OpenTable network through a consultative sales approach. The Account Executive will be the first point of contact for restaurants and will provide feedback to the Marketing and Product teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the restaurant industry and have a strong sales ability.

In this role, the Account Executive will:
  • Sell OpenTable products to restaurants not on the network.
  • Identify and close new business within a named territory.
  • Manage a book of business/territory.
  • Conduct business meetings with restaurant owners and operators.
  • Collaborate with the local Restaurant Relations Manager.


OpenTable requires candidates to have:
  • High-reaching, tenacious, and results-driven attitude.
  • Self-motivation and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurants and the ability to discuss customer issues.
