Manager, Technical Services

Job Description

Workato is seeking a Manager of Technical Services to join its Professional Services team. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with customer impact in a collaborative environment.Workato is looking for someone to:

• Lead and manage the Americas West Technical Services team.
• Drive customer success through onboarding, SOW delivery, and strategic services.
• Maximize team productivity by managing resource allocation and utilization.
• Develop and coach team members through goal setting and performance management.
• Recruit and grow talent, supporting hiring and career development.
• Coach team members on becoming trusted advisors to customers and partners.
• Represent Technical Services in customer strategy sessions and company-wide events.
• Manage customer escalations and partner cross-functionally with other teams.
• Track and report on key metrics and project performance.
• Contribute to services offerings by defining packages and enabling cross-functional teams.
• Develop expertise in Workato’s frameworks and provide feedback to improve delivery methodology.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration and contribute to internal strategy and enablement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical delivery teams.
• 5+ years of hands-on consulting experience in solution design and implementation.
• 2+ years of project or program management experience.
• 2+ years managing global, distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of integrations and systems design principles.
• Deep knowledge of technology and industry trends.
• Familiarity with modern programming languages and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with leading iPaaS platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of the SDLC.
• Demonstrated ability to scale and grow technical teams.
• Strong resource management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
