Job Description
Smartsheet is seeking a Sr. Regional Director, Large Enterprise, to lead a team of Account Executives. The ideal candidate will have a history of building and leading teams to over perform in quota attainment, close transformational transactions, and align strategically with large customers. This role is part of the Large Enterprise Sales organization and is based in a remote home office.
The Role Involves:
- Building and leading a Sales team to exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Predicting and delivering sales results through accurate forecasting
- Serving as a player/coach in a complex, solution-based sales process
- Developing new business opportunities by coaching Account Executives
- Driving Smartsheet senior executive engagement in target accounts
- Executing across all disciplines of sales management
- Partnering with Sales Engineering, Consulting, Customer Success, and Marketing
- Identifying and addressing issues to increase growth velocity
Requirements:
- 10+ years in the software industry with SaaS experience
- 5-10 years in sales management
- Track record of leading Enterprise sales teams to exceed quotas
- Ability to drive Strategic sales teams in executing “land-and-expand” strategies
- Relevant sales/sales leadership experience in vertical markets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work cross-functionally
- Experience executing sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC)
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth software company
- Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree or MBA preferred
