Job Description
Tekion is seeking a Lead NetSuite Engineer to architect and own technical solutions across its ERP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert across Finance, Operations, and cross-functional business systems, leading hands-on development, process optimization, reporting, and integration efforts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and is excited to solve complex problems through smart automation and scalable solutions.Tekion is looking for someone to:
  • Lead configuration, customization, and administration of NetSuite and related systems.
  • Write and maintain SuiteScript for workflows, automation, and integrations.
  • Design dashboards, saved searches, KPIs, and reports.
  • Lead integrity testing for upgrades and new feature rollouts.
  • Evaluate current processes and develop scalable workflows.
  • Lead system integrations between NetSuite and other platforms.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization across systems.
  • Document requirements, use cases, process maps, and technical specs.
  • Partner with Business Applications, Finance, and Ops teams to prioritize system enhancements.
  • Act as a functional lead in both production and sandbox NetSuite environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution design artifacts, and data models.
  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and security compliance.
  • Drive best practices around DevOps, testing, and change management.
  • Collaborate with cross-theater/Cross timezones teams to execute end-to-end projects.
Requirements for this role include:
  • 6+ years in NetSuite technical roles.
  • Hands-on expertise in SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, saved searches, custom records, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Strong background in building real-time and scheduled reports, including operational and financial KPIs.
  • Experience with NetSuite integration via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
  • Knowledge of accounting, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and/or subscription billing flows.
  • Ability to manage technical projects from design through deployment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
