Job Description
Coursera is seeking a Director, Enterprise PR & Communications to lead global PR and communications strategy for its Enterprise segment. This role involves shaping stories about equal access to opportunity, cross-sector collaboration, and the future of work and education. The Director will report to the VP of Global Communications and collaborate with global Enterprise leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Role Involves:
- Leading global PR and thought leadership strategy for Coursera’s Enterprise segment.
- Crafting global enterprise and corporate media narratives.
- Advising customers, XFN partners, senior leaders, and Executive staff on GTM strategy and positioning.
- Drafting strategic artifacts, including media talking points, bylines, keynotes, press releases, and exec speeches.
- Identifying relevant reporters and building relationships.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to identify customer case studies for PR.
- Coordinating initiatives and research efforts with coalition partners.
- Supporting internal and rapid response communications strategy and execution.
- Managing Enterprise PR Manager, mentoring team members, and coordinating with agencies.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise-focused communications roles.
- Background in clear, concise, creative written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated history of using data and insights to power thought leadership and media conversations.
- Experience leading and influencing senior executives, cross-functional, and regional teams.
- Proven ability to think strategically, creatively solve problems, and manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated history of working on projects that required cross-cultural communication skills.
- Familiarity with top-tier business and tech reporters.
