Job Description
LivePerson is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue to join their Revenue Accounting Team. This role reports to the Director of Revenue & Global Billing and is part of the Chief Accounting Officer organization. The Senior Manager will be at the forefront of revolutionizing accounting practices, prioritizing automation and agility in revenue reporting. LivePerson is a global leader in enterprise conversations, helping brands connect with consumers through their Conversational Cloud platform.
Role involves:
- Leading and managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close processes for revenue.
- Overseeing the Revenue team and managing relationships with operational teams.
- Mentoring, training, and developing a growing Revenue Accounting Operations Team in India.
- Acting as a trusted business partner and advisor to various stakeholders.
- Providing thought leadership on revenue related to new product introductions and business expansion.
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing effective internal controls for SOX 404 compliance.
- Acting as a liaison with external auditors.
- Evaluating processes and driving system implementation and enhancements.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a combination of Big 4 and in a fast-paced, global, software/SaaS company.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Experience using systems such as Salesforce, Zuora, RevPro, SAP & Oracle.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to take ownership of projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting - required, CPA preferred.
