Job Description
Addepar is seeking a Lead Product Designer to enhance the digital experiences of wealth managers through intuitive and user-friendly products. As the first design team member in India, the Lead Product Designer will report to the VP of Design and collaborate with local teams to create exceptional client experiences and streamline communication with teams in the U.K. and North America.Role involves:- Leading the execution of projects from design to delivery.
- Contributing strategically to product development.
- Ensuring seamless integration of core trading workflows.
- Partnering with product management and engineering.
- Managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Elevating Addepar’s product experience through interaction design and data visualization.
- Applying user research findings and product metrics to inform design decisions.
- Collaborating with engineering teams for design feasibility.
- Contributing to the Addepar Product Language design system.
- Serving as the local design leader in India.
- Participating in local recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts.
- Providing constructive feedback and mentoring other designers.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional work experience.
- Experience mentoring and leading designers.
- Experience designing digital experiences for complex financial applications.
- Passion for systematic design and scalable information architecture.
- Proven track record in product design, interaction design, and UX design.
- A portfolio showcasing robust UI design and strong prototyping skills.
- Experience crafting web products and user interfaces for enterprise users.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to Pune.
- Proficiency in Figma.
