Job Description
Addepar is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join their Client Services team in Edinburgh. The Client Services team is responsible for handling client health for all new and existing Addepar clients. This role is crucial in helping users obtain optimal value from the platform's technical resources.
The Technical Support Analyst will assist with day-to-day usage, consult on APIs and third-party integrations, and collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot and improve functionality.
What this role involves:
- Partnering with clients and third-party developers to troubleshoot issues on the Addepar Public API
- Troubleshooting SSO/SAML configurations
- Using Python scripts to automate solutions for users
- Identifying, responding to, and resolving issues raised by clients
- Working with sophisticated data sets to resolve client issues
- Prioritising and managing multiple issues simultaneously
- Identifying and triaging problems within the Addepar platform
- Acting as a primary contact for support with Product, Engineering, and Client Advocacy teams
- Helping clients maximise their use of Addepar through instruction
- Being an authority on Addepar’s technical functionality
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience with Python, SQL, and relational databases
- Proven experience with API technologies
- Familiarity with server monitoring software (SumoLogic, WaveFront, Periscope)
- Familiarity with software integrations
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in maths
- Passion for problem-solving and continuous learning
- Passion for technology and finance
- Familiarity with Wealth Advisor structures and investment characteristics
