Job Description
Veeam, the global market leader in data resilience, is seeking a Strategic Accounts Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team in Bucharest, Romania. This role involves working alongside Veeam Account Executives to expand Veeam's reach within existing strategic accounts and to identify new prospects. The SDR will qualify marketing-generated demand, engage with buying groups, and nurture prospects to generate new opportunities for the sales organization.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new demand for the sales organization.
- Qualify marketing-generated demand against established criteria.
- Discover and validate additional members of buying groups.
- Nurture predetermined groups of prospects.
- Comply with demand management service-level agreements.
- Track and manage account information in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with aligned sales teams.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Veeam Software products.
- Meet identified monthly KPIs.
- Participate in call out days and events.
- Participate in ongoing enablement activities.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Previous sales experience (high-tech products/services preferred).
- Outbound calling experience is a plus.
- Technical understanding of storage backup and cloud backup is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills.
