Job Description
Spin is seeking an IC2 IT Security Analyst - Operations to support the stability and security of its technological assets and products. The role involves maintaining continuous protection through security controls across various environments. The IT Security Analyst will play a critical role in executing the security operations strategy and responding effectively to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of security operation processes.
- Administer and maintain the operation of security technologies.
- Coordinate the attention to new requirements and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with Tech, Architecture, and other relevant teams.
- Assist in the implementation of new controls and create operational processes.
- Analyze intrusion detection and vulnerability reports.
- Participate in containment and eradication activities during security and operational incident responses.
- Design and maintain continuous monitoring processes for security controls.
- Ensure timely patching and version updates of various security controls.
- Maintain and improve the security architecture.
- Stay updated on the latest threats, techniques, and cybersecurity mitigation tactics.
- Provide periodic reports on the availability and effectiveness of security controls.
- Coordinate a consistent remediation plan for findings from internal or external audits and assessments.
- Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Actively create an autonomous work culture and collaborate in an agile and lean environment.
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the IT support team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in managing security controls across various layers.
- Ability to act quickly and effectively in crisis response situations.
- Excellent prioritization, time management, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards.
- Experience in security and network architectures.
- Intermediate to advanced level of English proficiency.
