Job Description

Spin is seeking an IT Security Lead – DevSecOps to lead the DevSecOps practice within the tech product development team. The IT Security Lead will oversee the integration of security into the DevOps processes, ensuring the secure development, deployment, and operation of applications and infrastructure. He will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to drive a culture of security automation and continuous improvement. The IT Security Lead will also serve as a Spin Culture Ambassador to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Role Involves:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of DevSecOps engineers.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy.
  • Integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implementing and managing security tools and platforms.
  • Automating security processes.
  • Monitoring and responding to security incidents.
  • Conducting security assessments and code reviews.
  • Providing training and guidance on DevSecOps best practices.
  • Staying updated on the latest trends in DevSecOps.
  • Driving innovation in the DevSecOps practice.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation on DevSecOps processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Participating in incident response activities.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Promoting an autonomous work culture.
  • Serving as a Spin Culture Ambassador.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and information security.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps tools and platforms (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development practices and DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards relevant to DevSecOps.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
