Job Description
Pendo is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate new, high-quality pipeline for sales territories. The representative will engage in strategic research of the SaaS/Web Application space, identifying companies and personas for engagement with Pendo’s product. This role involves working with Account Executives to deliver effective outreaches through various channels and will serve as hands-on training for a future sales executive position at Pendo.
- Generating new, high-quality sales qualified prospects
- Meeting key performance metrics and goals
- Researching and targeting new SaaS companies
- Creating successful cold calling and email campaigns
- Learning and demonstrating the Pendo platform
- Gaining proficiency in Salesforce.com data logging
- 1+ years of sales experience/lead generation (internships qualify)
- Experience with a CRM tool or sales system
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Hands-on training to become sales executive
- Exposure to diverse technologies and clients
