Community Advising Intern

Job Description

The Student Hotel (TSH) is seeking a Community Advising Intern to join their team. The intern will be responsible for coordinating complex booking requests for all TSH locations. They will act as a TSH specialist, promoting the company's concept, products, and services to guests and members to foster loyalty. The intern will identify market opportunities and contribute to commercial results, maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude to address the needs of the TSH community.

Role Involves:

• Taking enquiries and bookings via various channels
• Executing financial handlings such as sending out, checking and raising invoices
• Preparing arrival information with completed final and accurate details for our local colleagues, to ensure the best experience for our guests
• Working with our Hotel Management Systems (Mews, Pxier and Event Temple), Zendesk, Salesforce and our other main systems
• Advising our guests on the services and products TSH has to offer
• Responding to inquiries via email, telephone and other channels regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns
• Resolving guest’s challenges & complaints in a quick, efficient manner to maintain the guest satisfaction and quality of our service
• Assisting & helping co-team members in servicing the guests during peak moments
• Supporting our local operations team, to deliver unforgettable experiences for all our guests

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a university
• Currently studying a relevant bachelor’s in Hospitality, Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business
• Hospitality-minded with an enthusiastic and open approach, with affinity and interest in sales and customer experience/support
• Flexible; we also work in weekends (and evenings)
• Enjoying receiving and taking responsibility and you can work independently
• Someone who enjoys working and learning in an ambitious, informal and international environment
• Have no holiday plans during your internship
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Fluent in English (mandatory), as well as Dutch or German or Italian or French or Spanish
• Comfortable in an ambitious and informal working environment
