The Social Hub is seeking a highly motivated Chef de Commis for its Glasgow location. This role involves assisting in food preparation, managing stock, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Role Involves:
- Assisting in food preparation and basic cooking
- Ensuring accurate measurements of dish ingredients and portion sizes
- Reacting to the needs of the senior chefs, assisting in all kitchen operations
- Managing deliveries and stock rotation
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene
Requirements:
- Fluency in English
- Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Calm under pressure with excellent multitasking abilities
- Flexible, motivated, social, and highly organized
- Legally allowed to work in the UK
