Job Description

A Talent Solutions client is seeking a NetSuite Developer in Los Angeles, California. The NetSuite Developer will support the data architecture for the ERP application, identify opportunities to automate processes, and design, build, deliver, and maintain scripted solutions. The developer will work closely with Engineering and other NetSuite resources to deliver automation solutions, stay ahead of NetSuite feature releases, and adapt to changing business priorities.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the data architecture for the ERP application.
• Identifying opportunities to automate processes with scripted solutions.
• Designing, building, delivering, and maintaining scripted solutions.
• Performing technical design and code reviews.
• Working closely with Engineering and other NetSuite resources.
• Staying ahead of NetSuite feature releases.
• Adapting to changing business priorities.
• Building and managing reports and dashboards.
• Monitoring ERP system performance.
• Maintaining critical integration points between critical applications.
• Writing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining micro-service applications.
• Monitoring all end-user system usage.
• Executing ad-hoc data inquiries.

Requirements:

• 2 – 4 Years experience writing scripted solutions in Netsuite
• 1 – 2 Years experience with data architecture design between multiple applications
• 2+ Years experience as a systems administrator
• Project Management, Systems Implementation, and Systems Integration experience
• Extensive experience with SaaS platforms
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Extensive hands-on experience with Netsuite
• Experienced with SuiteScripts 1.0, 2.0 and map/reduce
• Extensive understanding of SuiteFlow, Suite Script, SuiteBuilder, Workflows
• Familiar working with JavaScript, Node.js, SOAP, REST, XML, HTML and JSON formats
• Familiar with SDLC procedures
• General understanding of best practices and business process in Finance and Accounting
• Basic functional understanding of Netsuite modules
