Principal Network Architect

Job Description

Rumble is seeking a Principal Network Architect to lead the design and deployment of its infrastructure. This role is strategic, shaping the architecture for global scalability and agility. The ideal candidate will define best practices and drive the next generation of network architecture.Role involves:

• Designing, implementing, and evolving large-scale network infrastructures.
• Mentoring engineers and documenting designs.
• Identifying innovative approaches for network growth and resilience.
• Resolving complex outages and performance challenges.
• Overseeing deployments and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Driving security, automation, and performance excellence.

Requirements:

• Expert-level knowledge of core and datacenter network architecture.
• Experience with L2/L3 protocols (EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, BGP, IS-IS).
• Strong command of tunneling, path selection, and traffic isolation.
• Expert troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on expertise with network vendors and operating systems.
• Experience with routing policy development and optimization.
• Fluency in optical networking technologies.
• Knowledge of anycast and DDoS mitigation strategies.
• Proficient communicator.
