Job Description

Capfi Africa is seeking a System Engineer for a permanent position with a major banking client. The System Engineer will be responsible for administering, supervising, and evolving system infrastructures, participating in migration and optimization projects, automating tasks, ensuring system performance and availability, collaborating with other teams, and maintaining technical documentation.

• Administer, supervise, and evolve system infrastructures (Windows and/or Linux).
• Participate in migration, optimization, and security projects.
• Automate recurring tasks and contribute to process improvement.
• Ensure proper functioning, performance, and availability of systems.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a top engineering school (or equivalent university degree).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in demanding environments.
• Excellent command of Windows Server and/or Linux environments, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and automation tools (Ansible, PowerShell, etc.).
• Good knowledge of IT security standards and banking environments (a plus).
• Analytical skills, rigor, autonomy, and team spirit are essential.
