Staff Software Engineer | Collections

Creditas is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their team in São Paulo, Brazil. The ideal candidate will support squads, provide technical guidance, analyze solutions, and drive technical strategy.

About Creditas:Creditas is a financial services platform offering loans, insurance, and investments. It is the largest online credit platform in Latin America, with over 13 million credit requests and a valuation of US$3.5 billion.

Role Involves:

• Supporting squads and providing technical guidance.
• Analyzing solutions and identifying technical bottlenecks.
• Driving technical strategy and aligning it with business objectives.
• Exercising technical leadership and guiding squads in executing the defined strategy.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in backend programming languages (Java and/or Kotlin).
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with messaging tools (Kafka, AWS-SQS etc).
• Experience in developing distributed microservices.
• Proficiency in system architecture patterns and 12 Factor principles.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience resolving production issues and implementing long-term solutions.
• Experience with DataDog and Observability.
• Availability for hybrid work in São Paulo (4 days/month).
