Release Train Engineer

Job Description

Vonage is seeking a Release Train Engineer to join their Product Delivery organization. This role is pivotal in orchestrating the Agile Release Train (ART) and ensuring the smooth delivery of value across programs and portfolios. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in leading Agile transformations, managing delivery processes, and optimizing team performance using tools like Jira. He/she will be responsible for aligning teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic and evolving organization.Role involves:

• Spearheading Agile at scale transformation.
• Leading the Agile Release Train (ART).
• Ensuring seamless alignment and collaboration among Agile teams.
• Managing and optimizing the flow of value through the program and portfolio.
• Developing and maintaining metrics and reports using Jira.
• Facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the program.
• Collaborating with other ART leaders and stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluating and refining Agile practices.
• Providing coaching and guidance to Agile teams and Product Managers.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on SAFe and Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Agile Delivery.
• SAFe Certified (SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE)).
• Deep knowledge of Lean/Agile principles.
• Hands-on experience leading Agile transformations at scale.
• Strong command of supporting tools like Jira and Jira Align.
• Experience coaching and influencing individuals at all levels.
• Passion about continuous improvement.
• Self-driven and confident.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environments.
• Effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
