Software Development Engineer-I (C# .Net)

Job Description

Innovaccer is seeking a Software Development Engineer-I (C# & .Net) to contribute to building an amazing product experience. The engineer will collaborate with other engineers to build features that address customer pain points.

Role involves:

• Application design, architecture, and cross-team collaboration to develop backend solutions.
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and define technical solutions.
• Setting standards for framework design and efficient solutions.
• Working with Infra teams to maintain and deliver applications.
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conducting code reviews and mentoring engineers.
• Optimizing application performance and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Leading overall architecture, design, and development of backend services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1 to 4 years of experience with backend microservices, data, cloud, and observability.
• Experience with C#, .NET Core, SQL, Cloud (Azure/AWS), Docker, and RDBMS (SQL Server and/or Postgres).
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with unit testing, TDD, and writing testable code.
• Familiarity with build tools, package managers, and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm, Git).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical thinking and a data-driven mindset.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
