Job Description
Chatham Financial is seeking a Hedging Consultant – Deal Manager to join its Real Estate Private Equity team. This role is available in both the New York and Kennett Square offices. The position offers a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where team members develop a deep understanding of derivative products and markets. Learning happens through hands-on experience in an apprenticeship-style setting alongside seasoned consultants.
In this role, the Hedging Consultant will:
- Provide strategic advice to real estate private equity managers
- Become familiar with pricing models and generate indications for clients and prospects
- Prepare client analyses
- Read, interpret, and analyze loan documents
- Prepare and review transaction documents for legal and regulatory compliance
- Assist with client and market research, as well as prepare client deliverables
- Execute trades on behalf of clients
- Build rapport and, together with other Chatham teams, develop relationships with clients to identify new hedging as well as non-hedging opportunities

- A bachelor’s degree and approximately 3-7 years of relevant industry experience in finance, valuation, consulting, or accounting
