Job Description

DLH Corporation is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to prepare and dispense mail order medical prescriptions for veterans. This full-time, second-shift position offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package. The role involves working in a secured federal building in Tucson, Arizona.

Role Involves:

• Preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintaining inventories of drugs and supplies and maintaining stock control.
• Operating various types of pharmacy automation.
• Filling and stocking medications.
• Maintaining stock and a clean work area.

Requirements:

• Current Certification by the National Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB).
• U.S. citizenship or proof of citizenship or legal residency in the United States.
• Must be 18 years old and a high school graduate or have GED.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Understanding of basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, and stoop; push or pull up to 150 pounds on a rolling cart or using a pallet jack.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time performing repetitive motion.
• Ability to meet production/accuracy standards required by the facility.
• Ability to understand and meet all safety standards.
• Ability to meet all regular hours and overtime hours that are required by the facility.
• Must be able to pass a Federal background check (NO felony convictions).
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening, including THC, marijuana.
