Senior Legal Counsel (fixed-term contract)

Job Description

Dataiku is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support its go-to-market activities in the EMEA region. This role is a fixed-term contract reporting to the Director, Legal, and can be based in London or Paris. The Senior Legal Counsel will serve as a trusted advisor to the business, providing practical guidance to drive revenue growth.Dataiku's Legal & Compliance team is a strategic partner for the company's day-to-day operations and is passionate about supporting its growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and solution-oriented team player.Responsibilities:

• Provide practical guidance to Dataiku’s go-to-market teams to drive rapid revenue growth across EMEA.
• Review and negotiate enterprise software license and SaaS agreements, partner agreements, and various other agreements supporting go-to-market and procurement activities and company expansion.
• Work closely with Dataiku’s teams, including Finance, Marketing, Procurement, Customer, and Compliance globally on projects and develop policies and procedures to help the company scale.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external clients and peers.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned, as needed to support the business needs.

Requirements:

• 6 + years of relevant legal experience and a proven understanding of commercial contracting in the context of SaaS and enterprise software licensing transactions.
• Excellent oral and written skills in English and French.
• Qualified to practice in either England and Wales or France.
• Able to work cross-functionally, effectively communicate complex issues to business stakeholders.
• Highly organized, experienced with managing numerous deals or projects simultaneously, and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
