Job Description
Darktrace is seeking a Senior Windows C++ Software Engineer to join its R&D team in Cambridge. Darktrace is a global leader in cyber security AI, delivering complete AI-powered solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and improvement of products that drive the company's growth. This role focuses on creating software for deployment on customer devices, enhancing Darktrace's security coverage outside corporate networks.
Role Involves:
- Contributing to rapid prototyping of new and innovative ideas.
- Improving core software modules written in C++.
- Working with various component technologies and applications (e.g., Docker, Terraform).
Requirements:
- Solution-focused mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in C++ programming.
- Understanding of writing code in a production environment.
- Experience with writing and deploying software on Windows devices.
- Experience as a senior member of a small team.
- Experience developing kernel drivers.
- Understanding of Endpoint Detection Systems.
