Job Description

Jumio is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test III to enhance quality assurance for its scalable backend and web-based systems. This role involves architecting and implementing automation frameworks, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with developers and product managers.

Role involves:

• Architecting, designing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and API testing.
• Leading the implementation of test strategies based on specifications and requirements.
• Driving automation-first approaches in various testing phases.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentoring junior SDETs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality benchmarks.
• Contributing to test data management and virtualization strategies.
• Tracking quality metrics and driving improvements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for backend and frontend systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured.
• Experience building automation frameworks and integrating with CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles, SDLC, and Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
