Job Description

Tide is seeking an FP&A Manager to partner with the Product and Engineering (P&E) teams, as well as managing the business partnering for Risk & Compliance (R&C), and Enablement (EN) cost areas. The role involves financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis. The FP&A Manager will report to the Head of FP&A and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to optimize resource allocation and improve financial efficiency.

The role involves:

  • Leading financial planning for P&E, R&C, and Enablement areas.
  • Collaborating with senior P&E leaders to track execution plans.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to improve financial performance.
  • Developing financial models to evaluate product development costs and ROI.
  • Providing variance and key performance metrics analysis.
  • Supporting scenario planning and strategic financial projects.
  • Managing IT software costs and implementing cost tracking mechanisms.
  • Reviewing reports and financial models.
  • Coaching and mentoring Analysts.
  • Developing and implementing policies and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A or finance business partnering.
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Experience in controlling IT software costs and vendor negotiations.
  • Strong financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Track record of developing process improvements.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with financial planning software and data visualization tools.
