Anthropic is seeking an International Policy Special Projects Lead to drive key company priorities globally. This role involves complex cross-functional planning, addressing emerging policy challenges in Asia, Latin America, and other regions, and engaging external stakeholders to advance AI policy and safety. The ideal candidate will collaborate with policy and cross-functional teams on strategic market expansion, policy development, and public submissions.
Role Involves:
- Developing strategies to support Anthropic’s international policy objectives.
- Designing and executing market entry plans from a regulatory perspective.
- Creating opportunities for Anthropic to build relationships with policymakers and organizations.
- Setting up a global horizon scanning function for AI policy issues.
- Translating Anthropic research into policy proposals and thought leadership.
- Drafting public submissions and policy memos.
Requirements:
- Track record of effective advocacy in policy communities.
- Experience engaging with governments and civil society.
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into accessible information.
- Success in identifying and convening relevant stakeholders.
- Motivation to equip governments with AI knowledge.
- Adept at creating compelling narratives.
- Curiosity for technological research.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
