Pure Storage is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their Inside Sales team in Chicago. This role is crucial for increasing Field Sales productivity and developing future sales leaders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting, sourcing leads, qualifying opportunities, and presenting to prospective clients and partners. They will be the first point of contact for prospects and will have a direct impact on the company's success.
Role Involves:
- Prospecting to identify new opportunities
- Identifying, qualifying, and setting appointments for field counterparts
- Conducting research on key target accounts
- Collaborating with Field Marketing on outbound call campaigns
- Qualifying and responding to marketing-generated leads
- Working with Account Executives and Channel partners
- Using sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com, Discover.org, Gmail, and LinkedIn
Requirements:
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota and penetrating new accounts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management
- Demonstrated ability to optimize performance in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in Sales
- BA/BS Degree
- Must be in/open to relocating to Chicago
