Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist

Tekion is seeking an Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to manage customer payments and accounts receivable transactions. The role involves acting as the primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries and ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts.Tekion is a company that aims to transform the automotive retail experience through its cloud-native platform. • Handling customer billing and invoicing inquiries via email and phone.
• Following up on overdue payments and resolving discrepancies.
• Reconciling customer accounts and ensuring accurate transaction recording.
• Communicating with customers regarding billing and payment status.
• Monitoring accounts receivable aging and implementing collection efforts.
• Generating reports related to accounts receivable and cash flow.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
• Experience with accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of accounting principles and billing processes.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
