Job Description
Carta is seeking a Senior Software QA Analyst to join their team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This role involves partnering with R&D teams to ensure product quality and acting as a liaison between Business and Engineering. The Senior Software QA Analyst will be responsible for creating, executing, and managing manual and automated tests within testing cycles. They will also attend development meetings, review product specifications, and cooperate with developers and product managers to gather system requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases
- Write, execute and maintain automated test cases
- Identify and document bugs from testing
- Triage production bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing
- Mentor junior team members
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester/Automation Engineer
- Experience writing automation in either Python, Java, Javascript, or other languages
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly autonomous and organized
