Job Description

Carta is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support its Revenue organization. The HRBP will partner with senior revenue leadership to scale the team, drive performance, support organizational change, and ensure an exceptional employee experience. This role involves building strong relationships with business leaders and cross-functional partners by coaching, advising, and influencing outcomes.

The Senior HRBP will execute HR strategies and build programs that drive organizational and people effectiveness. They will also play a critical role in building the capabilities of Carta’s leaders by establishing talent management strategies and solutions to achieve strategic initiatives and deliver results. The HRBP will work with Cartans across geographies, learning about local working norms and promoting Carta's culture and People initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing counsel to leaders and teams to implement People priorities.
  • Driving the delivery of HR programs, including performance management and compensation reviews.
  • Coaching managers on employee relations, career development, and leadership development.
  • Identifying solutions for Cartan’s development training needs.
  • Navigating organizational challenges using high judgment and effective communication.
  • Identifying and mitigating HR-related risks.
  • Overseeing HR reports and metrics to identify trends and insights.
  • Supporting employees and serving as the face of HR to these teams.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in general Human Resources, with 5+ years of HRBP experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology company supporting Revenue or GTM leaders.
  • Forward-thinking approach to people-related matters.
  • High emotional intelligence and communication skills.
  • Experience in all aspects of HR (compliance, operations, DEI, L&D, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use outstanding judgment.
