Data Engineer - Data Intelligence - Data Platform

Job Description

Culture Amp is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Data Platform team within the Data Intelligence Camp. This role involves supporting and improving Culture Amp’s Data Platforms through data engineering, ML engineering, and data science. The Data Intelligence Camp also focuses on developing reporting and analytics capabilities and enhancing Culture Amp’s approach to data and platform management. The Data Engineer will collaborate with other engineers, team leads, and product managers to deliver great outcomes.Role involves:

• Building, enhancing, and maintaining data platforms within Culture Amp.
• Designing and building data pipelines that ingest data from different sources.
• Ensuring pipelines are tested, performant, and observable.
• Monitoring end-user performance and providing guidance on optimization opportunities.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure responsible data management in line with privacy, security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Redshift.
• Skills in modeling and querying data in SQL and Python.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tooling including DBT and Airflow.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, within AWS cloud.
• Familiarity with AWS’ data tools such as EMR, MWAA, MSK (desirable).
