Job Description
Capital on Tap is seeking a Specialist Support Officer to provide support to vulnerable customers. This is a hybrid role based in Cardiff, requiring 3 days per week in the office. The role involves managing complex cases, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing strategies to assist customers in arrears. The Specialist Support Officer will work closely with other departments and ensure vulnerable customers are treated with care and respect.
Role Involves:
- Taking escalated inbound calls from vulnerable customers in arrears.
- Managing a portfolio of vulnerable customers.
- Meeting SLAs and implementing TCF principles.
- Reviewing and conducting vulnerability assessments.
- Working closely with other departments within Capital on Tap.
- In-depth reviews of hardships documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience dealing with vulnerable customers in a telephony-based role.
- Collections experience is ideal.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy.
- Ability to gather information.
- Ability to manage time and work to deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize work and be flexible.
- Ability to use data to reach the best customers quickly.
