Job Description

Payhawk, a leading global spend management solution, is seeking a BI Engineer to contribute to building the financial system of tomorrow. The BI Engineer will be responsible for gathering information, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on established business and operation KPIs, offerings, and initiatives. This role serves as a trusted business advisor to internal departments within Payhawk.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain operational and product KPI definitions.
  • Support team members with clear documentation and metric explanations.
  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy through QA automation.
  • Build analytical and statistical data models.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Train stakeholders on using BI tools.
  • Create data tools for business departments.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong data analytical background.
  • Experience with BI reporting tools, preferably Tableau.
  • Experience defining requirements to software or data engineers.
  • Experience designing and running SQL queries.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
