Job Description
VTEX is seeking a B2B Solutions Engineer to join their team in Manhattan, New York. The Solution Engineer will be a core part of the sales organization, acting as both the technical backbone and strategic advisor throughout the pre-sales process. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with strong knowledge of B2B commerce being essential to succeed.

The role involves:
  • Supporting technical discovery.
  • Solution design.
  • Client alignment throughout the pre-sales journey.
  • Demonstrating the VTEX platform and its capabilities.
  • Responding to RFPs.
  • Developing technical documentation.
  • Building proof of concepts (PoCs).
  • Leading technical conversations through to contract signature.
  • Facilitating a thorough handover of project context and documentation to the Customer Experience (CX) team.

The requirements are:
  • Experience in developing working relationships across all levels of management, internally and externally.
  • Experience in pre-selling or selling ecommerce solutions and technical knowledge for platform and integration models via API.
  • Deep knowledge in B2B Commerce.
  • Ability to work multi-functionally with colleagues and managers, internally and externally.
  • Ability to translate complexity into action plans and communications.
  • Ability to translate the customers' needs into business and architectural solutions.
  • A tech & math mindset, providing simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Advanced English knowledge (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience as a B2B Solutions Engineer.
