Junior Cost Accountant

Lush Cosmetics is seeking a Junior Cost Accountant to support the company's vision by ensuring accurate information for transfer pricing and costing on new product innovations and campaign ranges. The Junior Cost Accountant will play an integral role in the process of setting up new items alongside the Business Process team and Production staff. The ideal candidate will be comfortable regularly interacting with all levels of staff and providing them with accurate and clear data to support reporting and analysis.

This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. Lush values a diverse company culture and is committed to inclusion.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurate and timely setup of costing and transfer pricing on new products.
• Post-launch analysis of new product launches, seasonal, and campaign ranges.
• Support Manu Finance team with reviews and analysis on costing of non-material items.
• Support Sr Cost Accountant on updates of costing standards.
• Support the Business Process team with setups and reviews of labour routings.
• Support reviews of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Improve finance knowledge across the business.
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency of processes.
• Provide support for any ad-hoc analysis projects, modelling, and presentation materials.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Manufacturing Support or related experience.
• Strong time management skills.
• Detail orientated.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• A proven, collaborative, and inclusive approach to business support.
• Strong proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Pro-active approach and initiative.
