Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optician to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. The Licensed Optician will play a crucial role in helping customers find the perfect eyewear solutions. They will work directly with customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their eyewear needs are met. What this role involves:
- Working directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs
- Taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and executing these details with flawless accuracy
- Checking that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
- Explaining prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
- Collaborating with the team to improve sales and customer service practices
- Representing the brand and educating others about its values and mission
Requirements:
- Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states)
- Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries
- Clear, effective, and professional communication skills
- Dedicated to providing excellent customer service
- Energetic, positive team player who can adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
- Open-minded and eager to learn
- Takes work seriously, but not themselves
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
